agent/artist I want to join!

agent/artist I want to join!

Thank you for expressing your interest in joining our agent/artist roster. Please read this information before filling out the fields below. We will contact you within 24-48 hours.

We appreciate your enthusiasm and are excited about the potential of collaborating with you to bring your unique talents to a wider audience. To better evaluate your act and ensure that we can provide the best representation possible, we kindly request that you provide us with additional information for our review. Please send us links to your professional bio, videos of your performances, and any other relevant materials that showcase your skills and experience.

We'd also like to inform you that, should your act be accepted to join our agent artist roster, there will be no cost to you joining our roster. agent/artist makes money by adding a fee to the performer fee, making the buyer pay the agent/artist fee, not the artist. This arrangement ensures that our interests are aligned, and our success is directly tied to your success.

Please note that at this time, our agency does not represent any acts exclusively or manage any acts. Our focus is on providing non-exclusive representation and booking opportunities to a diverse range of talented performers.

However, agent/artist would like to inform you how payments are handled and how the artist receives their payment. We like to get this out of the way before working with any act:

1. The following terms are non-negotiable
2. agent/artist adds an office fee for each show the artist plays through us, that the buyer pays
3. Buyers pay agent/artist, then agent/artist pays the artist
4. Buyers NEVER pay with cash. NEVER!
5. Buyers pay with check, credit card or direct deposit directly to agent/artist
6. Artist receives their payment up to 30 days after the performance from agent/artist via check
a. Note: some buyers request a 30 day out payment schedule
7. At the end of the calendar year agent/artist sends the artist a 1099 tax form
8. agent/artist only writes one check to the contracted check recipient. This person is responsible to pay their band, group, party members
9. agent/artist only speaks to one person who is designated to sign all contracts and take care of all business and accept payments for gigs
a. agent/artist may speak to others in the group, band, party, but all “business” will only be handled through the contract person.
10. The artist (you) agree to allow agent/artist to use any materials found on the internet, social media, media organizations or anywhere, place information, videos, photos, recordings made with any technology known or unknown at this time, to be used form agent/artist advertising the act (you) without any compensation to the act
11. If the act joins agent/artist and after anytime from that point the act decides NOT or STOP working with agent/artist, agent/artist has up to 18 months to remove act from promotional items. Some promotional items may take longer to have the act removed, for example posters or flyers but not limited too (printed materials take a while to use up). agent/artist will remove everything to the best of their ability. If there is a cost involved to remove or change items, the act may agree to pay the cost to have their act removed faster.
12. If the act joins agent/artist and after anytime from that point agent/artist decides NOT or STOP working with agent/artist, agent/artist has up to 18 months to remove act from promotional items. Some promotional items may take longer to have the act removed, for example posters or flyers but not limited too. agent/artist will remove everything to the best of their ability.

If you do not agree to the above terms, then we end here.

If you do agree to the above items, please fill out the fields in this form. By sending us this form you agree that you understand the 12 non-negotiable terms above.

Your agreement to these 12 items by sending us this form, is NOT a contract in anyway shape or form. This just lets us and you know we are on the same page with payment.

A question often asked is, “Why does the payment go to agent/artist and not directly to the artist then the artist pays agent/artist for their fee?” The reason is simple, agent/artist would NEVER receive a check from the artist. agent/artist has paid every penny to every artist. We are professionals and treat our clients as professionals.

This will allow us to gain a comprehensive understanding of your act and determine how we can best support your artistic journey. Once again, thank you for considering us as your partner in this exciting endeavor, and we look forward to learning more about your talents.
