Why are you hiring?
Simplified Entertainment Inc. has the need to add to our current employment because we have expanded into new markets. This is a great opportunity for any one who likes show business.

How can you be in "show business" when your located in Skaneateles, NY and not New York City or Hollywood
Nearly 90% of show business agents are NOT located in a major city. In fact nearly 90% of all show business related business does not happen on television or Hollywood. It is in private functions and events. That is what we do.

Do you work with big name entertainment?
When our clients request a certain act or personality, we will negotiate with that entity for the event.

How do I make money?
Simplified Entertainment Inc. pays you on what you sell. There is a base salary/wage plus commission, bonus and incentives. We pay on a weekly basis.

What do I have to do? I have no experience in show business.
No show business experience is necessary. Why? Because we offer complete training on selling our products. 90% of the time our clients know what they want. It just takes us to find and deliver that entertainment.

What is "Talent Scouting"? I do not know anything about talent.
No need to have any experience. We just require of agents to see live performers, and attend shows from time to time. Surf the net for new acts and the like. Then bring the information to weekly meetings.

Would I ever have to perform in a show?
Only if you wanted to! Sometimes an event needs a "show host". From time to time our agents act as the host and make the event go on. This pay is above and beyond any other pay.

It sounds like a lot of travel. How often would I be gone from my family?
At this time we attend about 8 trade shows each year. Depending on the trade show they are about 4 days long. We try to switch people on and off these shows. Dates of these show are known way in advance. Plus any hosting of shows that you may do.

Simplified Entertainment Inc, located in beautiful Skaneateles, NY is upstate New York’s largest full service entertainment production company. We provide quality entertainment and entertainment services to colleges, universities and corporations throughout the entire United States. Simplified Entertainment is one of the TOP FIVE college production companies in the US. Creative and innovation entertainment ideas and concepts is what separates Simplified Entertainment Inc. from the competition. 

Currently Simplified Entertainment has an opening for a Warehouse - Go To Person. This is a fantastic opportunity for an eager, energetic, friendly people person

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Warehouse(s): Managing, clearing, organizing, cleaning, maintenance. Other duties: Snow removal, lawn maintenance, fleet vehicle maintenance, loading and unloading shows. Assisting in show production. Building of show props. (must be handy with tools). A team player. Painting, building maintenance. Show hosting, vehicle driver. Also: surfing the web for news related stories to our business, show research, filing, attending industry trade shows, answering phones. May have to work on weekends at times.

Go To Person: We have many odd jobs here. For example we may need to run to the post office for a special package, or have to pick up an artist at the airport and deliver them to a show. Small odd jobs that take up valuable time from our sales associates.

Show Hosting: We provide large party jumpers to various clients. These items weigh about 300 lbs each, however are very easy to move. You will be required to be a "host" of these shows at times. Pay for this type of work can be up to $300 per show!

Must have a clean license.

Must like show business.

Non-smoking facility and vehicles.

Must be able to lift 70 lbs.

Must like to travel.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills: Able to work independently and unsupervised, personable, clean.

Travel: Certain events may need the candidate to travel to the event and meet with the client, set up the event and make sure everything runs fine. Candidate MUST like to travel (Drive, Fly, Bus or Train) through out the US.

Attendance to trade shows, showcases and talent scouting is required. Talent scouting at least 2 times a month is required. (Going to night clubs to see bands, comedians and shows. Travel throughout U.S.)

Fun personality is a must! People person is a must! Good physical condition is a must. There may be equipment to set up.

Requirements: Minimum of a High School Education with quality writing skills, clean drivers license, own transportation (we are not on the bus route) non-smoking office and non-smoking company cars.

Simplified Entertainment Provides: Training.

Location, Hours & Wage:

We are open from 9 AM to 5PM EST

Wage: $9.00 hour.

Benefits: Candidate may apply for a personal health benefit insurance plan after 9 months.

Full Time: 9AM-5PM Monday - Friday
