  9. Dress accordingly. No revealing clothing. The Buyer will have the power to eliminate a contest based on dress.

  10. Contestants will abide by the rules.

  11. If the contestant wants to bring a song on their own CD, this is okay. However, Simplified Entertainment Inc. or the Buyer is not responsible for anything that happens to the CD, CD doesn’t play correctly or anything else while the CD is in the possession of Simplified Entertainment Inc. or the Buyer.

  3. There is no sound check.

  4. Contestant may provide their own song(s) on CD only. Simplified Entertainment Inc. or the Buyer is not responsible for how the contestants CD plays on the system provided. At only the sole discretion of Simplified Entertainment Inc. and not the Buyer,  will a contestants CD be pre-tested in the system provided. Each song on the CD MUST be played in its entirety if it is to be checked prior to the show. 5. Simplified Entertainment Inc. or the Buyer will have the final decision in which songs will be part of the performance. This is to alleviate the singing of duplicate songs and the show becoming a tribute to Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston

  6. There will only be one song per ARTIST per round. No contestant may sing from the same ARTIST more than once. This includes an ARTIST who was in a group and who has moved to another group or performed solo or any other combination of the ARTIST performing. (Example: A contestant may sing a song from the group NO DOUBT but that same contestant can not sing another song in another round by Gwen Stefani.)

  7. Songs containing offensive language, terms, or anything else that may be deemed offensive by Simplified Entertainment Inc. or the Buyer may not be used. Because of the depth of songs available, Simplified Entertainment Inc. or the Buyer may not in anyway be held responsible by anyone reading this, attending or who has not read this, for any song, lyric or any other action deemed offensive or that breaks any law.

  8. The contestant is wholly responsible for their song selection(s) and actions before, during and after the performance.

  9. Contestants will select a primary song for Round 2 and Round 3. They may choose a second song that duplicates another contestant’s primary selection. In the event that a contestant that makes it to the second or third round, the contestant may choose to sing their second selection only if the other contestant who had selected the same song as the primary song, did not make it to the next round.

  10. Contestants may select a final song. The same song may be selected by every contestant, since only one person will be singing the final song (the winner).

  1. Buyer may elect to have judges at the event.

  2. The judges will not be allowed to verbally say anything.

  3. The judges will be allowed up to 10 additional votes each per round.

  4. The judges may give all their votes to one final contestant or divide them up over the final contestants.

  5. The judges must award whole points. (no fractions of points)

  6. If the judges elect to do so, after each performance, the judges may use a paddle to show up to 10 points of how they think the performer did. These points are just for “fun” and have nothing to do with the final points the judges may award.

  7. Simplified Entertainment Inc. or the buyer is not responsible for the judge’s actions.
